PRAYER ... the ART of ASKING .. ^^

..a few way you can ask God in prayer..

  1. [Matthew 7:7-8] ~ Keep on asking and it will be given you; keep on seeking and you will find; keep on knocking [reverently] and [the door] will be opened to you. For everyone who keeps on asking receives; and he who keeps on seeking finds; and to him who keeps on knocking, [the door] will be opened.
  2. [Luke 11:6] ~ But when you pray, go into your [most] private room, and, closing the door, pray to your Father, Who is in secret; and your Father, Who sees in secret, will reward you in the open.
  3. [Luke 11:7] ~ And when you pray, do not heap up phrases (multiply words, repeating the same ones over and over) as the Gentiles do, for they think they will be heard for their much speaking. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.
  4. [John 4:24] ~ God is a Spirit (a spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (reality).
  5. [Luke 18:7] ~ And will not [our just] God defend and protect and avenge His elect (His chosen ones), who cry to Him day and night? Will He defer them and delay help on their behalf?
  6. [1 Samuel 1:10] ~ And [Hannah] was in distress of soul, praying to the Lord and weeping bitterly.
  7. [Matthew 5:23-24] ~ So if when you are offering your gift at the altar you there remember that your brother has any [grievance] against you, Leave your gift at the altar and go. First make peace with your brother, and then come back and present your gift.
  8. [Psalm 5:1-2] ~ LISTEN TO my words, O Lord, give heed to my sighing and groaning. Hear the sound of my cry, my King and my God, for to You do I pray.
  9. [Matthew 26:42,44] ~ Again a second time He went away and prayed, My Father, if this cannot pass by unless I drink it, Your will be done...So, leaving them again, He went away and prayed for the third time, using the same words.
  10. [Luke 11:2-4] ~ OUR FATHER WHO ART IN HEAVEN, HALLOWED BE THY NAME, THY KINGDOM COME, THY WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN; GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD, AND FORGIVE US OUR TRESPASSES AS WE FORGIVE THOSE WHO TRESPASS AGAINST US; AND LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION, BUT DELIVER US FROM EVIL. AMEN. [..for the kingdom, the power and the glory are YOURS now and forever.]
